Penryn College: An amazing planting event - Mission Update!

Thanks to all that attended the Penryn College Planting event for the new technology area.  Over the week the garden has been constructed and last saturday a large group of students, parents, brothers, sisters and members of the local community came together to complete the technology for plants section.

The group planted herbs, a range of vegetables and fruits and flowers in raised beds that will really fill out over the last half term of the school year.  This is going to  enable students to take home fresh fruit and vegetables to cook at home as well as the food technology students designing menus around the seasonal produce available.

Penryn College congratulates their new Eco-Team!!! - Mission Update!

After a long and intensive process of applications and interviews the new Eco-Committee at Penryn College has been appointed.  The Eco-Committee with Eco-Team Leaders are responsible for leading the Eco-School project at Penryn, deciding its direction and actions for the coming year.

St Luke’s Science and Sports College - Mission Update!

Hi there, we would just like to update you on our activities.

In our wild spaces outside we have now created a marshy area. Our Design and Technology Dept students are busy making a bat box and a barn owl box, and we have created a database to record all the animals and plants we see and any interesting facts about them. People all over the college are growing potatoes in their subject areas and we are also growing sunflowers. The seeds will be used for the wild birds in the winter.

As a college we are taking part in the growing seeds campaign for trees and have planted our 400 seeds. Within the college we are looking at litter and …
