Cornwall’s first Education for Sustainability Conference – Mission Update!
Last week a group of our students represented Penryn College at Cornwall’s first Education for Sustainability Conference at the Eden Project. There the students delivered a presentation on the work we have been doing on developing our environment and bringing sustainable practices into our school.
It was also a great opportunity to hear about the work of others schools and listen to key note speeches from David Weatherly and Henryn Leibling. the students also got an opportunity to work with the group ‘Weapons for Sound’ on a drumming workshop.
Thanks to the students who attended for representing the school so well and to the organising team for a great day.

All of our resources are currently free and you can help them to stay that way and support the other work of Roots & Shoots in the UK by making a donation, no matter how small. The easiest way to donate to the Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots programme UK online is by using Virgin Money Giving. This can be a one off donation for any amount you want (every pound helps!) or if you prefer you can set up a regular, monthly donation.
