Roots & Shoots UK Awards 2014 – Coming Soon!

Roots & Shoots Awards 2014This year’s Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots UK Awards are to be held on 1 December 2014 at London Zoo. The awards recognise achievements by young people in the UK to help people, animals and the environment. It’s been a really strong year for entries across all our categories and we’re really looking forward to the awards day where the winners will be announced in the presence of Jane Goodall herself and other special guests. Thanks to our sponsors we have some really great prizes on offer this year, including:

Accrington St Christopher’s Church of England High School

Sustainability Conference 20142013’s Gold Award winners are still going strong and this year organised  a sustainability conference for schools across the country, culminating in a Trashion show!

Eastbury Comprehensive School

2Fund raising for Amnesty, cleaning up their local environment, Eastbury have been busy!

Liverpool John Moores University

Human chain against coalFundraising for Greenpeace, conservation trips to New Zealand and human chains in Germany!

Malin Bridge Primary School
