Charity Christmas cards for Liberia Chimps Rescue

This December, University of Bristol Roots & Shoots made Christmas cards to support the Liberia Chimp Rescue Project! Our group designed animal-themed cards, which we screen-printed individually onto recycled cards. With lots of sparkles and paint, along with recycled handmade paper, we decorated the cards and sold them around the University. Volunteers from the University even got involved, and we teamed up with the Student Union to run our card-decorating as a micro-volunteering event. As our first small card-making project, we managed to raise £38.92! We can’t wait to use our card-making equipment and what we’ve learnt to make even more cards for next year and raise money and awareness to help save endangered chimpanzees in Liberia.

Many thanks to the University of Bristol Alumni Foundation, who funded our card-making equipment.
