Posting Pictures on Roots & Shoots

You may have already seen and used the guide on posting a story about your school – here’s a quick and handy guide on how to add pictures to your posts!

When you are creating or editing a post using the WordPress utility, you will see a screen like so:

Once you have entered the title and text of your story, you are ready to add pictures, and you will need to decide how many images you want to add – either a single image or a gallery of several.

Post a story about your school!

Got a news story about your school’s projects? The Roots & Shoots website now allows you to easily post updates on your activity directly to the site to share with other Roots & Shoots members and the world. All stories that you write about completed projects will also be automatically entered for the Roots & Shoots annual awards!

Here’s how to post your story:

On any Roots & Shoots page, click on the ‘Member Login’ button in the right-hand side menu.
When prompted enter your username and password – you will now be taken to the Mission Control page.
In the right-hand side column you will see a section called ’Your School’. Click on the option to ‘Post a story for your school’.
