The local environment around Leaden Hall School is described as:

“Our school is in the Cathedral Close in Salisbury town centre. We have playing fields at the front which we share with the Cathedral School, a grass play area and a tarmac play area. Our play areas have a tree area. We have a thriving Eco Garden beside the playground which is bordered by a wild garden area and overlooks the river and watermeadows on the opposite bank. Our buildings are made from sustainble wood with copper roofs. We encourage all wildlife and have resident hedgehogs and many varieties of birds including owls.”
