Green School from Bali’s amazing initiative

Grade 1 held a collection drive last week to support the Smile Shop in Ubud, Bali.The Smile Shop is a second hand store that uses all proceeds to help people with craniofacial disabilities, such as cleft lip or cleft palate, to receive life-changing operations.As part of schools’ studies about empathy, the first graders made posters and collected used clothes, books and household items.“We hope that our work with Roots & Shoots and the Smile Shop can help people who cannot afford an operation any other way”.Please see http://www.senyumbali.org/ for more information.
