Malaria Activity 3: Fundraising

Research Scientist. Photo by Photokanok, from freedigitalphotos.netMalaria is a disease caused by a parasite kills over 2.7 million people every year. Use this activity to help your class raise funds to help people affected by malaria and for further scientific research into causes and cures.

The third of three “bite-sized” activities about malaria, this exercise  is part of the Waterworld Mission. Chrono-bot R00T5 travels to a future where East Anglia is flooded and marshy. This has led to conditions allowing mosquitoes to breed continuously and spreading malarial parasites to humans through bites. These parasites cause the disease malaria in humans.
