Forest Activity 1: Tree People

Kinder am Waldweg 1862 By Joseph Moseley Barber (fl. 1860s/1870s) (Dorotheum) [Public domain], via Wikimedia CommonsForests are used in many different ways; people use them for leisure and fun, and as a resource. This means that there are jobs based around all these things that people do. This activity will encourage students to realise that there are lots of industries based on forests and woodland, with many people working in this area and dependent on forests for jobs.

This “bite-sized” activity  is part of our Forest Activities. These activities are designed to encourage groups to use local forests and woodlands as a learning resource, encouraging students to get outdoors and interact with their local environment.
