Roots & Shoots Supports Observer Ethical Awards
Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots programme brings you an exciting new partnership opportunity with the Observer Ethical Awards.
The awards, in association with Ecover is calling on teachers, parents or youth group leaders to encourage their Young Green Champions to come forward with their world-saving ideas so they can help to make them happen with £6000* funding from Ecover.
Ecover Young Green Champions Award is open to classmates, youth groups, friends and individuals all under the age of 18 with ideas so good they’ll make everyone around them leap in the air with joy. Perhaps you know of a student already saving the world (or at least your local community or school) through their brilliant recycling scheme or a youth group rescuing wildlife or busting carbon footprints. Perhaps their project’s so clever it hasn’t even been thought of yet!
We know you put enormous effort into making these projects work and we want to reward you too. Nominate the project of the group you work with and you could win a three night stay for a family of four at The Coppice Woodland in Hertfordshire with Sawday’s Canopy & Stars**.
This award is open to individuals or groups who are under 18 on 1 January 2013.
The deadline date for entry is the 22nd March 2013.
