RSPCA Sponsors Most Outstanding Group Award at Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Annual Awards

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) has been looking out for animals, since 1824.

Their vision is to work for a world in which all humans respect and live in harmony with all other members of the animal kingdom.

Every day, with the help of their members and generous supporters, they take steps to achieve our mission. From rescuing a stranded deer to changing the law.

The Most Outstanding Group Winner will have the opportunity to see behind the scenes at one of the RSPCA’s animal hospitals, by spending a day with the vets and carers, who make such a difference to the lives of animals in need across England and Wales.

After a short briefing and introduction to the site, the winners will have a tour and be able to see exactly what it takes to be an animal rescuer. The Group may help to put together case studies of the animals in care and meet an inspector who will inspire them with tales of rescue.

The choice of RSPCA site will be either

– Stapeley Grange in Cheshire

– Birmingham Animal Hospital

or

– Mallydams Wood in E Sussex
