Featured Activity: What lives in forests?

This week’s featured activity is the next in our series about forests. ‘What lives in the forests’ is all about the plants and animals that inhabit European forests. Its a great opportunity to get outside with your class into local woodland, or even a local stand of trees! Students will conduct a biodiversity survey, discovering the types of trees that make up a forest, and the other plants and animals that live there.
This “bite-sized” activity is part of our Forest Activities. These activities are designed to encourage groups to use local forests and woodlands as a learning resource, encouraging students to get outdoors and interact with their local environment.
