Sometimes it’s hard to imagine how one person can make a difference in the world but there are hundreds of people who work in science, conservation, engineering and technology who have done just that. This activity looks at the work and life of some of these individuals and what they have achieved.

The Inspirational Scientists used in this activity are all women, from many parts of the world. Women working in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine) have typically been under-represented, and often it’s their male counterparts that received the attention. This activity is a chance to celebrate their achievements.
