RSPCA Sponsors Most Outstanding Group Award at the Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Annual Awards

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) has been looking out for animals, since 1824.

Their vision is to work for a world in which all humans respect and live in harmony with all other members of the animal kingdom.

Every day, with the help of their members and generous supporters, they take steps to achieve their mission. From rescuing a stranded deer to changing the law.

The Most Outstanding Group Winner will have the opportunity to visit the RSPCA’s Mallydams Wood Education Centre and woodland in East Sussex. Winners will spend the day finding out how to care for animals and how the RSPCA make a difference to animals lives throughout England and Wales.

After a short briefing and introduction to the site, the winners will explore the woods and take part in games and trails all about wildlife and companion animals. They will try their hand at an animal health check and take part in a Great Animal Debate about the issues they think are most important in animal welfare today.

It is a fantastic opportunity for these young people to experience and get an insight into what action they can take to help animals throughout their life!!

Good Luck!
