Damers First School – The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy

Sir Oliver Letwin MP came to Damers First School to present and help the children plant three tree saplings as part of the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy. The children planted a rowan, a hazel and a silver birch.  The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy (QCC) is creating a network of forest conservation initiatives across all 53 Commonwealth countries to mark Her Majesty’s lifetime’s service to the Commonwealth.
