Happy Birthday Dr Jane!

Dear Members,

To create a better world for all living things is the greatest gift we can give to our Founder. On April 3, Jane turns the grand age of 86 years.

In the 60 years since her arrival at Gombe National Park to study chimpanzees, Jane not only showed the urgent need to protect chimpanzees from extinction but redefined conservation ensuring improved well-being for human communities, wildlife and their habitats. This February also marked the 29th Anniversary of Roots & Shoots and we are excited that the power of our youth programme has reached over 65 countries around the World!

Jane is a Global inspiration to so many people around the world.
