SJNCC have started a new extracurricular group called ‘Fairtraders’. This business co-operative involves volunteer students taking full responsibility for running their own Fair Trade shop; they are involved in the marketing, stock-checking, ordering, pricing and selling of Fair Trade products. The healthy profit that the students make is then either re-invested or donated to charity.
The Fair Trade Group attended an Eco-School Event at City Hall in Leicester this week where they presented the hard work that they have accomplished with Fair Trade this year.

Well done to Naomi Clarke-Myers who raised over £40 for Fair Trade by making cupcakes and selling them on the Fair Trade Stall.
