Sir Jonathan North was lucky to have Susan Wilson, a speaker from the Fair Trade Foundation, come in this week to lead assemblies for Years 7, 9 and 10. Susan shared her personal experiences of visiting Uganda and seeing first-hand the difference that Fair Trade makes to people’s lives.

Well done to the Fair Trade girls who made and sold Fair Trade Crispy Cakes!! They went down a treat! Especially with the teachers!! Oops!!

SJNCC has been awarded their second Fair Trade award; FairActive. This award is all about taking action! This means we have held a community event, ran a cmapain and spread the word about trade justice!

A big thank you to ShaniceRussell-Blatchford in 10.9 for helping the Fair Trade Group raise money for Fair Trade fortnight. Shanice made a beautiful and yummy chocolate cake as a prize for the Fair Trade raffle. We raised over £80!!
