QEII High School have been busy finding wonderful, imaginative and exciting ways to raise money for their selected charities! Asthma UK – sponsored car wash/silence/bike ride, guess the name of the bear, how many sweets in a jar. £200 raisedManx Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals – Whole school dress as an animal day. Sponsored bike ride, sponsored silence, cake sale, sponsored swim. £800 (approx.) raised.
RNLI (Peel Lifeboat Station, on the Isle of Man) – Non uniform day, cake sale, various activities in hope to raise £1,000 by May 2019.McMillian Cancer Support – Coffee morning raised £200.Save the Children wear a Christmas Jumper Day – whole school took part and we raised approx. £650The Student Council also managed to: Make and deliver Christmas cards to the local sheltered accommodation homes.
