Switch off day

On Tuesday 22nd November JAGS supported the switch off fortnight campaign. Between 2.15 and 3.15 all the lights, computers and interactive white boards were switched off in the school for an hour of electronic free teaching. Also, over the lunch hour the Eco Club ran a disco in the dark. Here, acoustic music was played by individuals and groups and glow sticks were given out to those attending. It was a really fun event and an enjoyable way to support the environment in the long term.
