Our charity book sale was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, share a love of reading and support a cause that means so much to us all. By donating and purchasing pre-loved books, the children experienced the excitement of discovering new stories and favourite authors, while also learning about the importance of reusing and recycling. There is something very special about seeing much-loved books passed on for someone else to treasure, giving them a new lease of life while helping us to care for our environment!
Just as importantly, every book purchased contributed to a very special cause: our local Marie Curie Hospice. The sale offered a lovely way for the children to see how an enjoyable activity, and something as simple as sharing a book, can bring people together, support others and make a positive difference within our wider community.
