Eighteen apples!

A few years ago we were honoured with funding from Disney via Roots & Shoots. We used the funding for planting apple trees, hoping to establish a community orchard. Unfortunately, the saplings were vandalized (twice!) and after the second occasion, we decided to rescue the saplings to our own allotment. 

We have carefully cared for them and pruned them and our reward this year was 18 beautiful, tasty apples.
