Poppies!

Our Roots & Shoots garden was alive with brightly coloured poppies in June!

We scattered previously collected seeds at the end of the Easter term, and couldn't believe how, three months later, they were blooming in the sunshine!

And even more exciting, they attracted lots of busy bumble bees too! Bees are drawn to poppies for their rich nectar and pollen, while the poppies rely on bees for pollination. It’s a beautiful, mutually beneficial relationship that highlights the interconnectedness of nature.
