Sustainable no-sew T-shirt shoppers

The Spinfield School Global Citizen group has been busy making no-sew sustainable shopping bags out of old T-shirts. They have held a school-wide competition to see which class can make the most bags! They intend to give these bags away free to the local community to promote sustainability.

Their local community cafe, The Ark, has kindly agreed to let them distribute the bags, and they also hope to persuade a local supermarket to allow them to be given to their customers. Watch this space. Spinfield school community service in action!

We prob have around 70 bags to give away eventually and aim to distribute them after Easter hols!
