Jungle burned for agriculture By Jami Dwyer [Public domain], via Wikimedia CommonsThis week's featured activity is the next in our series about forests. 'The Forest Environment'  is all about how forests have changed over time. It will introduce the concepts of deforestation and reforestation, and will encourage your class to think about the impacts of both on the environment locally and across the wider world. This “bite-sized” activity  is part of our Forest Activities. These activities are designed to encourage groups to use local forests and woodlands as a learning resource, encouraging students to get outdoors and interact with their local environment. Read more about and download this activity »
