On Saturday 23 March 2013 at 8:30pm, millions of people across the globe will be switching off non-essential lights in business premises and in homes for one hour – Earth Hour. From a single-city initiative in Sydney in 2007, Earth Hour has since become a global phenomenon that saw participation from 153 countries across every continent in 2012, becoming the world’s largest voluntary action for the environment. Some of the world’s iconic buildings and monuments stood in darkness as a powerful symbol of this landmark environmental action.

We invite you to join us in what promises to be an amazing and inspiring global celebration of our collective commitment to the planet.??Switching off lights for the hour is just the beginning.You can participate in Earth Hour 2013 by:

  • Switching off all non-essential lights during Earth Hour, from 8:30-9:30pm on Saturday, 23rd 2012.
  • Signing up your participation in Earth Hour on their website.
  • Joining the ‘I Will If You Will’ challenge and Daring the World to Save the Planet.  This creative and engaging campaign provides an excellent platform for organisations and individuals to become the inspiration they want to see in the world.
