Lizzie Daly empowers the next generation at James Allen’s Schools
James Allen’s Schools were delighted to welcome Lizzie Daly in March this year. She was invited to speak to both schools at the annual ‘Jane Goodall Conservation Lecture’, where all proceeds from ticket sales goes to the Jane Goodall Institute.Lizzie is a recognisable face for our girls, as she has appeared on CBeebies and spoken about creatures that you might not be initially drawn to, but each has an interesting tale to tell! Lizzie entertained with her bubbly personality and her vast knowledge of some of the planets strangest species! An enormous thank you to Lizzie for an interesting day; she inspired so many of the girls! She was presented with a ‘chimp guardianship’, and JAPS were delighted to be able to send the Jane Goodall Institute a cheque for £2,000 as a result!Lizzie Daly said: “It was so inspiring to hear about the success of such a variety of projects! Projects that have purpose; make a positive impact; give back to the community and help in the protection of this natural world. The day was incredible, and it was very apparent that the girls are very passionate and driven. We discussed their future plans and how they will continue to achieve great things. I thoroughly enjoyed delivering my talk and was left feeling excited about what’s to come!”
