Dear R&S Members,Welcome to Summer – finally!And have we got a fun packed edition in store for you. It has been yet another busy period for all our members, not to mention us here at HQ. The Roots & Shoots awards were an outstanding success and for the first time featured a stunning sustainable fashion show by St Christopher’s and Queen Elizabeth II High School.The new Roots & Shoots resource pack, endorsed by Oscar winning actor Colin Firth, is now available – filled with fun ideas and projects for you to implement in and out of the classroom.The programme has now spread its roots in the United Arab Emirates, where we have just launched in Abu Dhabi. Watch this space for more news and the opportunity to twin with an Emirates school from here in the UK.As for Dr Jane, even busier than ever, read all about her 80th global birthday celebrations and her adventures in Scotland.
