Observer Ethical Awards - Deadline Extended

Observer Ethical Awards 2015 - nominate imageThe deadline for nominations for the Observer Ethical Awards 2015 has been extended! This means that you now have up until midnight on 26 March 2015 to enter. Entering is easy and you could win a generous £6,000 bursary from Ecover to further your school's green schemes. So, what do you need to do to enter? We are encouraging you to nominate your school's best green projects for the award's Young Green Champion category. In line with the aims of Roots & Shoots, this award recognises the work of schools and youth groups in the UK that come up with innovative ways to benefit the environment. To enter you need to provide an overview of what your project is about and give some details as to how you would spend the prize money to continue and extend your scheme. You will also need to attach any supporting information that you have, such as project reports, pictures etc. The nomination form for the award is here. It's worth noting that it's fine to enter both this award and our annual Roots & Shoots awards too, so your school could be a double winner! We've dedicated a special part of our website to the award which gives you all the details that you need to know, or just contact us if you have any questions. Start planning your entry now, and good luck!
