Roots & Shoots UK Awards 2014 - Coming Soon!
This year's Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots UK Awards are to be held on 1 December 2014 at London Zoo. The awards recognise achievements by young people in the UK to help people, animals and the environment. It's been a really strong year for entries across all our categories and we're really looking forward to the awards day where the winners will be announced in the presence of Jane Goodall herself and other special guests. Thanks to our sponsors we have some really great prizes on offer this year, including:
- The 'Most Outstanding Photograph Award' sponsored by National Geographic Kids Magazine. Our lucky winner gets the chance to be a Nat Geo Kids' reporter for a day!
- The 'Individual Endeavour Award' sponsored by Quest Overseas. The winner of this prize gets a fully funded place on one of Quest Overseas' summer projects.
- The highly coveted 'Most Outstanding Group Award' sponsored by the RSPCA. The winning group gets to spend a day behind the scenes at one of the RSPCA's animal hospitals.
