Roots & Shoots empowers young people to turn their curiosity about the natural world into meaningful action for people, animals and the environment.
Founded by Dr Jane Goodall in 1991, the programme gives students the tools, confidence and community to make a positive difference, whether that’s restoring habitats, supporting wildlife, reducing waste or leading local campaigns.
Today, Roots & Shoots connects more than 700,000 young changemakers in over 75 countries, all working towards the same goal: a more sustainable, compassionate world.
